- Mehr zu SEO Mitte der 1990er Jahre fingen die aller ersten Internet Suchmaschinen an, das frühe Web zu erfassen. Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten unmittelbar den Wert einer lieblings Positionierung in den Ergebnissen und recht bald fand man Betriebe, die sich auf die Aufbesserung professionellen. In den Anfängen vollzogen wurde die Aufnahme oft zu der Transfer der URL der passenden Seite bei der diversen Suchmaschinen im Netz. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Untersuchung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Internetpräsenz auf den Web Server der Anlaufstelle, wo ein 2. Angebot, der allgemein so benannte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu anderweitigen Seiten). Die späten Typen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die mit den Webmaster selber vorliegen wurden von empirica, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Internet Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Übersicht mit Gegenstand einer Seite, jedoch registrierte sich bald heraus, dass die Verwendung dieser Hinweise nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der angewendeten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Darstellung des Seiteninhalts wiedergeben konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Websites bei besonderen Recherchieren listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedenartige Punkte in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu interagieren, dass die Seite richtiger in Serps aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die damaligen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Punkte abhängig waren, die einzig in den Taschen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um bessere und relevantere Testergebnisse in Suchergebnissen zu erhalten, musste ich sich die Besitzer der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Voraussetzungen einstellen. Weil der Erfolg einer Suchseiten davon abhängt, wichtigste Suchergebnisse zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, vermochten unangebrachte Ergebnisse zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benutzer nach diversen Möglichkeiten bei der Suche im Web umschauen. Die Rückmeldung der Suchmaschinen inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Rang, die Punkte beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht leicht kontrollierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin generierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Bing – eine Anlaufstelle, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Auch sonstige Suchmaschinen im WWW betreffend pro Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. in Form der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Bing
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
