Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten direkt den Wert einer lieblings Listung in Ergebnissen und recht bald entstanden Betriebe, die sich auf die Besserung professionellen. In den Anfängen geschah der Antritt oft zu der Transfer der URL der passenden Seite in puncto vielfältigen Suchmaschinen im WWW. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Betrachtung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Webpräsenz auf den Server der Search Engine, wo ein zweites Angebot, der bekannte Indexer, Angaben herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Wörter, Links zu anderen Seiten). Die frühen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Infos, die durch die Webmaster selber vorhanden worden sind, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Netz wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamtüberblick per Gehalt einer Seite, doch registrierte sich bald heraus, dass die Nutzung der Ratschläge nicht verlässlich war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlüsselworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Darstellung des Seiteninhalts wiedergeben konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Kanten bei einzigartigen Benötigen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller verschiedene Punkte in des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu lenken, dass die Seite passender in Resultaten aufgeführt wird.[3] Da die frühen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Merkmalen angewiesen waren, die nur in Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr vulnerabel für Straftat und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um höhere und relevantere Testergebnisse in Serps zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Operatoren der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Voraussetzungen anpassen. Weil der Ergebnis einer Suchmaschine davon abhängig ist, wichtige Suchergebnisse zu den gestellten Keywords anzuzeigen, vermochten ungünstige Urteile zur Folge haben, dass sich die Benutzer nach anderweitigen Chancen zur Suche im Web umgucken. Die Lösung der Suchmaschinen lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Rangfolge, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur kompliziert kontrollierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin konstruierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Suchmaschinen – eine Suchmaschine, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Unterseiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
