Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten direkt den Wert einer lieblings Listung in Serps und recht bald entwickelten sich Firma, die sich auf die Verfeinerung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen erfolgte der Antritt oft zu der Transfer der URL der speziellen Seite in puncto divergenten Suchmaschinen. Diese sendeten dann einen Webcrawler zur Kritische Auseinandersetzung der Seite aus und indexierten sie.[1] Der Webcrawler lud die Homepage auf den Web Server der Anlaufstelle, wo ein weiteres Anwendung, der allgemein so benannte Indexer, Informationen herauslas und katalogisierte (genannte Ansprüche, Links zu sonstigen Seiten). Die neuzeitlichen Modellen der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die aufgrund der Webmaster selbst bestehen worden sind, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen im Netz wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck mit Thema einer Seite, jedoch stellte sich bald hoch, dass die Einsatz der Hinweise nicht ordentlich war, da die Wahl der genutzten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Präsentation des Seiteninhalts sonstige Verben kann. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Unterseiten bei spezifischen Recherchieren listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Eigenschaften innert des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beeinflussen, dass die Seite größer in den Serps gelistet wird.[3] Da die späten Suchmaschinen sehr auf Aspekte abhängig waren, die einzig in Koffern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr empfänglich für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen in der Positionierung. Um gehobenere und relevantere Urteile in den Suchergebnissen zu erhalten, mussten wir sich die Inhaber der Internet Suchmaschinen an diese Voraussetzungen einstellen. Weil der Erfolg einer Suchseiten davon abhängt, wesentliche Suchergebnisse zu den gestellten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, vermochten ungeeignete Vergleichsergebnisse zur Folge haben, dass sich die Nutzer nach anderen Wege bei dem Suche im Web umblicken. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen fortbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen für das Positionierung, die Merkmalen beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur nicht gerade leicht kontrollierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin generierten mit „Backrub“ – dem Vorläufer von Die Suchmaschine – eine Suchmaschine, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Seiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus einfluss besitzen ließ. Auch übrige Suchmaschinen bedeckt in der Folgezeit die Verlinkungsstruktur bspw. in Form der Linkpopularität in ihre Algorithmen mit ein. Yahoo
Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
