Die Seitenbesitzer erkannten zügig den Wert einer lieblings Listung in den Serps und recht bald fand man Anstalt, die sich auf die Besserung qualifitierten. In den Anfängen bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt die Aufnahme oft bezüglich der Übertragung der URL der speziellen Seite in puncto vielfältigen Suchmaschinen im WWW. Die zeitigen Varianten der Suchalgorithmen basierten auf Angaben, die aufgrund der Webmaster selber gegeben werden konnten, wie Meta-Elemente, oder durch Indexdateien in Suchmaschinen wie ALIWEB. Meta-Elemente geben eine Gesamtübersicht über den Inhalt einer Seite, allerdings registrierte sich bald raus, dass die Inanspruchnahme dieser Details nicht gewissenhaft war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlagworte durch den Webmaster eine ungenaue Abbildung des Seiteninhalts wiedergeben vermochten. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in den Meta-Elementen konnten so irrelevante Internetseiten bei einzigartigen Ausschau halten listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller vielfältige Punkte in einem Zeitraum des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu beherrschen, dass die Seite größer in den Suchergebnissen gefunden wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen im WWW sehr auf Punkte angewiesen waren, die nur in Fingern der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr anfällig für Falscher Gebrauch und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um höhere und relevantere Testurteile in den Ergebnissen zu bekommen, mussten sich die Betreiber der Suchmaschinen im WWW an diese Faktoren adjustieren. Weil der Erfolg einer Search Engine davon abhängig ist, wesentliche Suchresultate zu den inszenierten Keywords anzuzeigen, konnten unpassende Urteile zur Folge haben, dass sich die Mensch nach anderen Optionen zur Suche im Web umgucken. Die Auskunft der Suchmaschinen inventar in komplexeren Algorithmen beim Rang, die Kriterien beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur schwer beeinflussbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin gestalteten mit „Backrub“ – dem Stammvater von Yahoo – eine Search Engine, die auf einem mathematischen Matching-Verfahren basierte, der anhand der Verlinkungsstruktur Internetseiten gewichtete und dies in den Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Is using a server side wildcard redirect good practice? This was done but the old domain urls are still indexed a year later. Rankings for the new domain are still terrible and not the same as before the change of address tool.

My question is that we see the usage of webp images more frequently, also Apple announced that he will support Google’s webp image format. Looking at most of the webshops using webp already the type of the image is webp, but they leave the extension of jpg for example https://google.com/image.jpg but type is webp. What could be the reason for that? Wouldn't it be better if the image would have a .webp extension or no extension at all. Is this related somehow to indexing or SEO? I think they do not want to make the redirect of the images and that’s why they change just the type of the file instead of changing the extension.

We did domain name change some months ago and over 3 months everything was fine in terms of ranking, then suddenly we lost all our ranking. All SEO guru have been indicating it's duplicate content issue because both old and new domain contents are on one server. Can you drop some light on this?

If you migrate your website then check out 301 redirect a few times. Even more, after migration control your redirects because it might break in some time.
