BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" were found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of fees.

An elevated quantity of cops were placed at faculties within the communities as a result of the signs. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators across the communities, the Department of Security stated, however they determined there is no credible menace presently.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The safety department released a photograph of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of prison threatening and three misdemeanor prices including false report back to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged at the moment.
