BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after a number of indicators saying "faculty shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Safety announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of prices.
Guy Hanson. New Hampshire State PoliceAn increased amount of cops were positioned at faculties in the communities as a result of the indicators. Multiple schools initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.
Hanson allegedly placed the indicators across the communities, the Division of Security stated, however they decided there is no such thing as a credible risk right now.
The New Hampshire Division of Safety is investigating signs that learn 'faculty shooter!' which have been found in a number of communities New Hampshire Department of SafetyOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The protection department launched a photograph of the plate but blurred part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor prices including false report back to law enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.
No other suspects have been charged at this time.
