Teen arrested after mother observed son had gun at Texas faculty drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Grey Information) - Several agencies responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after a teen’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle College around 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teenager never made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Division responded to the world together with a number of different companies in an attempt to search out him.
The teen was found close to the college’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old could possibly be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no menace made to the college or anyone inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Middle College was briefly positioned on lockout as a result of the incident.
