Teen arrested after mother seen son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - A number of businesses responded to a center college in Texas Friday morning after a young person’s mother observed he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mother was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Center College round 9 a.m. when she noticed the firearm. The teen by no means made it inside the building, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the realm along with a number of different agencies in an try to seek out him.
The teenager was discovered near the college’s campus and taken into custody.
Authorities said the 15-year-old might be facing a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no threat made to the varsity or anybody inside the varsity.
