The Uvalde Police Division and the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District police power are now not cooperating with the Texas Department of Public Security's investigation into the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School and the state's evaluation of the regulation enforcement response, multiple regulation enforcement sources tell ABC News.
The Uvalde police chief and a spokesperson for the Uvalde Unbiased Faculty District didn't instantly reply to requests for remark from ABC News.
In accordance with sources, the choice to cease cooperating occurred soon after the director of DPS, Col. Steven McCraw, held a information conference Friday throughout which he stated the delayed police entry into the classroom was "the wrong determination" and opposite to protocol.

Reached by ABC News, a spokesperson for the Texas Division of Public Security said, "The Uvalde Police Division and Uvalde CISD Police have been cooperating with investigators. The chief of the Uvalde CISD Police offered an initial interview however has not responded to a request for a follow-up interview with the Texas Rangers that was made two days ago."
Last Tuesday's assault, one of the worst school shootings in U.S. history, left 19 youngsters and two adults lifeless.
