Meta-Elemente geben einen Gesamteindruck über den Content einer Seite, aber stellte sich bald raus, dass die Benutzung dieser Hinweise nicht zuverlässig war, da die Wahl der eingesetzten Schlagworte dank dem Webmaster eine ungenaue Vorführung des Seiteninhalts wiedergeben konnte. Ungenaue und unvollständige Daten in Meta-Elementen vermochten so irrelevante Webseiten bei individuellen Suchen listen.[2] Auch versuchten Seitenersteller diverse Punkte in einem Zeitraum des HTML-Codes einer Seite so zu manipulieren, dass die Seite überlegen in Ergebnissen gefunden wird.[3] Da die zeitigen Suchmaschinen sehr auf Faktoren dependent waren, die ausschließlich in Händen der Webmaster lagen, waren sie auch sehr instabil für Abusus und Manipulationen im Ranking. Um vorteilhaftere und relevantere Urteile in Serps zu bekommen, mussten sich die Besitzer der Suchmaschinen im Netz an diese Faktoren integrieren. Weil der Gewinn einer Recherche davon anhängig ist, besondere Suchergebnisse zu den inszenierten Suchbegriffen anzuzeigen, konnten ungünstige Vergleichsergebnisse darin resultieren, dass sich die Nutzer nach weiteren Wege bei der Suche im Web umblicken. Die Auflösung der Suchmaschinen im Internet lagerbestand in komplexeren Algorithmen fürs Ranking, die Faktoren beinhalteten, die von Webmastern nicht oder nur mühevoll manipulierbar waren. Larry Page und Sergey Brin entwarfen mit „Backrub“ – dem Urahn von Suchmaschinen – eine Suchseiten, die auf einem mathematischen Routine basierte, der mit Hilfe der Verlinkungsstruktur Webseiten gewichtete und dies in Rankingalgorithmus eingehen ließ. Can someone help me with the issue:
When I enable the SEO in System>Settings>Store>Server Tab, everything looks and runs Okay, exept when I go in ANY sub-category.
Then the site's URL goes from MySiteNameURL/MainCategory, to MySiteNameURL/MainCategory/AnySubCategory and CSS and JS are not loading at all! The category items listed in this categories are loading , exept the Style CSS file and any JS I have. In other words the site's style is gone.
But:
But if I drop the MainCategory from the URL and enter directly: MySiteNameURL/AnySubCategory the site is finding the correct path to the CSS and JS and everything is Okay.
Please, could someone help me with this? Thank You.

Thanks for the video, this made things that little easier for me, the only difference I had to make was to add a few custom lines from my .htaccess to the bottom of the new .txt one as my site forces https access. Took a few seconds and no issues so far 🙂
Doing this has broken all product pages. When I click on any product I open an error page that says something like this: "Fatal error: Uncaught Twig_Error_Loader: Unable to find template "extension/module/quickorder.twig" followed by paths that are missing.

Then again, what about all the product pages? They still show an ugly, ridiculous URL like:
index.php?route=product/product&product_id=40 ???
Who would ever try to even think about buying a product_id=40 from any online store?

I have two htaccess files
htaccess and .htaccess.txt
What do I do here, delete htaccess which is the original file and amend the .htaccess.txt by removing the .txt extension?

Hello. I have made all as described here, but get 404. And not seo urls works. My site use 2 languages and I have set keywords for both languages. Finally it works, but changing language go to home page and connection on seo url pages are not secure.
It would be good to add that one should only put category_id=xxx for category etc. because first I was trying to add the whole link with index.php and so one.
