Drunk driver crashes, heads straight to dealership to try to sell damaged car with missing tire

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 instances the authorized alcohol limit after at least five people known as 911.

Officers say the calls started coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.

They are saying witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway close to the Fundamental Avenue exit. They are saying the crash brought about a flat tire and the automobile to smoke, however the driver saved going.

Other callers say the driving force was all over the street and now lacking a entrance tire.

They are saying he ultimately stopped at a automotive dealership and appeared “tremendous drunk.”

Workers advised police the motive force, 30-year-old Jordon Mattingly, was trying to promote his SUV.

Police say he had swelling and scratches as if he had simply been in a crash.
