Federal brokers entered Uvalde college to kill gunman despite native police initially asking them to wait

Federal brokers who went to Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 children have been told by native police to attend and not enter the school — after which decided after about half an hour to disregard that preliminary guidance and find the shooter, say two senior federal law enforcement officials.
