Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car right into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The automobile slammed right into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the front across the road from a Secret Service guard submit, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.

There have been two juveniles within the car. Both were taken to a hospital and are actually in steady situation, officials mentioned. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re expected to face costs.

D.C. police are investigating.
