Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White Home: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles were injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier close to the White Home, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to tug over the car about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard post, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Each had been taken to a hospital and are now in secure condition, officials stated. We do not know their exact ages.

They’re anticipated to face expenses.

D.C. police are investigating.
