Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs day-after-day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak started on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Massive Mac. I’ve counted each Big Mac I’ve eaten my entire life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Big Macs a day.

“All through life here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be useless before you attain 50 years of eating Massive Macs.’ I suppose I proved them improper,” he stated.

His son is just not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had glad meals. I all the time cherished my rooster nuggets, and my brother all the time liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life type of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has more of a diverse diet.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets on daily basis. I used to eat cheeseburgers every day, but ultimately you just get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he actually does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll continue eating Massive Macs with a Coca-Cola on the aspect till he dies.

“Numerous occasions folks will say, ‘You seem like I’m eating a Huge Mac for the primary time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I suppose that’s how I really feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d fairly eat,” he stated.
