Bay Space cop charged with masturbating in entrance of family throughout home violence call

A Bay Space police officer has been charged with masturbating in entrance of a household that known as police during a fraught home violence call.

The Santa Clara County District Lawyer’s Workplace has charged Matthew Dominguez, 32, with a misdemeanor indecent publicity after responding to a restraining order name on the evening of April 21.

An unidentified individual whose family put a home violence restraining order against him had allegedly violated the order and was at the family’s residence, in keeping with an announcement of facts supplied by the District Legal professional’s Workplace.

The mom, recognized in the assertion as Ms. S, the daddy, Mr. A, and their 23-year-old daughter called police. Dominguez and two different officers arrived on the scene, with the previous taking the “lead investigative role,” per the statement.

Dominguez started the investigation by speaking to the daughter.

“Officer Dominguez took curiosity in her and continued to interact almost completely along with her,” the assertion read.

After she gave the officer a doable location, Dominguez allegedly ordered the opposite two officers to conduct the search. While he “milled across the home,” in response to the assertion, “he managed to keep the daughter in view of his Physique Worn Camera.”

The daughter then requested Dominguez about her brother’s GPS monitor, which they — and Ms. S, the mother — went to retrieve collectively. Later, the daughter went into the kitchen to get her mother a glass of water. Dominguez allegedly followed her into the kitchen.

As he circled to face Ms. S, she “noticed Officer Dominguez’s penis exterior of his pants absolutely exposed,” the statement read.

The mother and daughter then went to find Mr. A, the daddy, they usually known as an uncle who was close to the scene.

When Mr. A returned into the kitchen, he “saw Officer Dominguez dealing with out of the kitchen together with his erect penis in his left hand and his proper hand on the counter.” Mr. A left the home; a few minutes minutes later, Dominguez allegedly left and went back to work.

“The charged habits is past disturbing,” District Lawyer Jeff Rosen said. “Law enforcement officers reply to our properties to help crime victims, not terrorize, traumatize, and create new victims.”

This is not the primary misconduct incident inside the previous month involving San Jose police. An officer investigating the kidnapping of 3-month-old Brandon Cuellar was allegedly drunk in the course of the investigation, tipping off an FBI agent on the scene, KRON reported.

Dominguez is on administrative leave following the incident, the District Attorney’s Office said. His arraignment is scheduled for June 22.
