VICTORIA, Texas -- The Sandy Hook households' lawsuits against Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones for calling the 2012 Newtown faculty shooting a hoax appear poised to renew soon, primarily based on agreements revealed Friday within the chapter cases of some of Jones' firms.

The bankruptcy filings of Infowars, Jail Planet TV and IW Well being last month delayed the lawsuits filed in Texas and Connecticut. Jones has already misplaced the defamation lawsuits, and the filings came a week before a jury in Texas was set to begin considering how much cash Jones should pay the families of victims within the Sandy Hook Elementary College capturing.

A hearing, however, stays scheduled for May 27 on whether or not the chapter case should be dismissed. The Sandy Hook households have questioned the legitimacy of the filings, saying they have been meant only to delay the defamation lawsuits — claims Jones' legal professionals deny.

The taking pictures at Sandy Hook Elementary College in Newtown, Connecticut, killed 20 children and 6 educators.

The families of eight of the victims and an FBI agent who responded to high school sued Jones, Infowars and others, saying they've been subjected to harassment and loss of life threats from Jones’ followers because of the hoax conspiracy. Jones has since said he believes the taking pictures did happen.
