800 workers resign after company asks them to work from workplace

Over 800 WhiteHat Jr staff have resigned from the children on-line coding studying edtech start-up within the final two months after being asked to work from office.

This comes after WhiteHat Jr, a platform which was acquired by BYJU’S in 2020, requested its workers to return to workplace inside a month’s time, based on an Inc42 report.

On March 18, the corporate announced the policy to end do business from home and requested distant workers to return to workplace by April 18.

The resignations got here from full-time workers of the gross sales, coding, and math groups. Extra employees are anticipated to place down their papers within the coming months.

One of many workers who resigned instructed the web site that a month’s time was not sufficient for relocation. “Some have kids, some have aged and sick parents, while others have other tasks.
