Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of consuming Huge Macs day by day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak began on Might 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend each Big Mac. I’ve counted each Massive Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by way of life right here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Huge Macs.’ I guess I proved them unsuitable,” he stated.

His son is just not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We always went to McDonald’s with my dad and had pleased meals. I at all times beloved my chicken nuggets, and my brother all the time liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life form of thing for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has extra of a different weight loss program.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets day by day. I used to eat cheeseburgers daily, but finally you just get sick of it. I don’t know how he does it, but he actually does,” he stated.

Gorske says he will continue consuming Large Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side until he dies.

“Quite a lot of instances folks will say, ‘You look like I’m consuming a Large Mac for the first time,’” Gorske said. “I suppose that’s how I feel sometimes. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d fairly eat,” he said.
