Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Large Macs each day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Big Mac streak started on Could 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend every Huge Mac. I’ve counted every Huge Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Huge Macs a day.

“All by way of life here, lots of people mentioned, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of consuming Large Macs.’ I assume I proved them incorrect,” he stated.

His son is just not shocked at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had joyful meals. I all the time loved my chicken nuggets, and my brother at all times liked his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an on a regular basis life kind of factor for us,” he stated.

Gorske’s son has more of a varied weight loss program.

“I used to eat chicken nuggets every single day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day-after-day, but finally you simply get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, however he definitely does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll proceed consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet until he dies.
