Police allege an Oklahoma woman hatched a scheme to get custody of her youngsters that centered around loading hundreds of images of kid pornography onto her husband’s cellphone and then having him arrested.
Lacey Hucks, 33, the spouse, and Angel Moore, 44, her friend, are alleged to have labored collectively to border Hucks’ husband, who was not named.
“If they might get him out of the picture, then she thought she would get her youngsters again,” Garvin County Sheriff Jim Mullett mentioned in keeping with the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Police say that Hucks drove Moore to the Wynnewood Police Division on April 18 and had her turn the cellphone in and file a report. They say that Moore turned in the device and stated she saw Hucks’ husband using it to view little one porn of their house.
The police say that phone had tons of of photographs of “various juvenile victims.”
Police did arrest the husband, but they began to surprise why the phone he was using did not have any pictures similar to those Moore became them. That’s once they reportedly bought a warrant to search Lacey Hucks’ cellphone and that reportedly showed that she and Moore had been pals and had mentioned finishing up the incident in advance.
And then Moore allegedly caved.
Police say that after she initially stated she didn’t know Hucks, she instructed them that they had been friends and that Hucks had coached her on what to do upfront of turning the cellphone in. She then, reportedly, admitted that she never saw the husband with the phone.
The husband instructed Police he had not seen his outdated phone since last “October or November,” but “didn’t suppose too much of it as a result of it was not his main phone and didn't have service.”
Moore is going through fees of conspiracy and knowingly reporting a false crime, the Star-Telegram reported, and Hucks is facing the same fees in addition to a cost of aggravated possession of kid pornography.
