VICTORIA, Texas -- The Sandy Hook households' lawsuits in opposition to Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones for calling the 2012 Newtown faculty taking pictures a hoax seem poised to renew soon, primarily based on agreements revealed Friday in the chapter cases of some of Jones' corporations.

A hearing, however, remains scheduled for May 27 on whether the bankruptcy case should be dismissed. The Sandy Hook households have questioned the legitimacy of the filings, saying they were meant solely to delay the defamation lawsuits — claims Jones' attorneys deny.

The capturing at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, killed 20 youngsters and 6 educators.

The families of eight of the victims and an FBI agent who responded to high school sued Jones, Infowars and others, saying they've been subjected to harassment and loss of life threats from Jones’ followers because of the hoax conspiracy. Jones has since mentioned he believes the taking pictures did occur.
