Russian spy aircraft violates Swedish air space

A Russian reconnaissance aircraft briefly violated Sweden’s airspace on Friday, Swedish defense officers mentioned on Saturday, as the Scandinavian nation ponders a bid for NATO membership after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“A Russian AN-30 propeller airplane violated Swedish airspace on Friday evening,” the Swedish protection ministry stated in a press release, including that its groups had adopted the incident and photographed it.
The ministry said the aircraft was flying east of Bornholm, a Danish island within the Baltic, before it headed towards Swedish territory.
“It's totally unacceptable to violate Swedish airspace,” public television SVT quoted Protection Minister Peter Hultqvist as saying.
“This motion is unprofessional and given the overall safety scenario very inappropriate. Swedish sovereignty should all the time be revered.”
