NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It is a matter that's taken hold in Tennessee: books like "Maus" or "Stroll Two Moons" have been pulled from shelves.
While those books is likely to be banned from some schools, there's nonetheless someplace else you can find them.
"Our job is just to make sure that in order for you it, it's here for you," stated Public Data Officer for the Nashville Public Library, Ed Brown.
"'Maus' is all checked out proper now," stated Brown. "So we received extra copies on order but as soon as word got around about what happened in McMinn County, we got plenty of holds."
These are just a few of the two million other supplies at the Nashville Public Library.
"A lot of people do not need to learn these books; they don't need their youngsters to should learn these books, or forced to learn these books, and that's high-quality," stated Brown.
