Man arrested in connection with “faculty shooter” indicators present in 3 New Hampshire communities

BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple indicators saying "school shooter" had been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety introduced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces a number of fees. 

An increased quantity of cops had been positioned at faculties in the communities on account of the signs. A number of colleges initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs across the communities, the Department of Security said, but they decided there is no such thing as a credible risk right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The safety division launched a photograph of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony charge of criminal threatening and three misdemeanor charges together with false report to legislation enforcement, false public alarm and legal threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

No other suspects have been charged at the moment.
