BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A man was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "college shooter" had been found in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Department of Safety announced. Guy Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple fees.

Hanson allegedly placed the signs across the communities, the Department of Safety mentioned, but they determined there isn't a credible risk at the moment.
The New Hampshire Division of Security is investigating indicators that read 'school shooter!' which had been found in multiple communities New Hampshire Department of SafetyOne such sign was written on a paper plate. The safety division released a photograph of the plate but blurred a part of it "to guard the integrity of the investigation."
Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of felony threatening and three misdemeanor charges together with false report to regulation enforcement, false public alarm and prison threatening. He's being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
No different suspects have been charged at the moment.
