BARNSTEAD, N.H. -- A person was arrested Friday after multiple signs saying "faculty shooter" have been present in Barnstead, Epsom, and Pittsfield, New Hampshire, the state's Division of Security announced. Man Hanson, 61, of Pittsfield, faces multiple fees.

An increased amount of cops had been placed at colleges within the communities because of the indicators. A number of faculties initiated lockdowns as a precaution shortly after.

Hanson allegedly placed the indicators across the communities, the Division of Safety mentioned, however they determined there is no such thing as a credible threat right now.

One such signal was written on a paper plate. The protection division released a photograph of the plate but blurred a part of it "to protect the integrity of the investigation." 

Hanson was arrested on a felony cost of legal threatening and three misdemeanor expenses including false report to law enforcement, false public alarm and felony threatening. He is being held in Merrimack County Jail pending a listening to scheduled for Tuesday.

No different suspects have been charged at this time.
