Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automobile into a concrete security barrier near the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.
A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to pull over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.
The automotive slammed right into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at 17th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers said.
Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled in the entrance throughout the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the road.
There have been two juveniles within the car. Each have been taken to a hospital and are actually in steady condition, officers said. We don't know their precise ages.
They’re anticipated to face charges.
D.C. police are investigating.
