Juveniles Crash Stolen Car Close to White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automotive slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at seventeenth Street and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers stated.

Video exhibits a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the automotive. Both had been taken to a hospital and are actually in secure condition, officials stated. We do not know their actual ages.

They’re expected to face charges.
