A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers said Tuesday.
The 25-year-old girl, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news release from the park.
The girl approached the feminine bison Monday morning after it came close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Outdated Devoted geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison live at the park, they usually have injured more people than some other animal, the park stated.
When the customer came within 10 ft of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes in the air, the park mentioned.
The girl had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two different folks have been additionally close to the animal when it gored the woman, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned folks to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and not less than 100 yards from bears and wolves.
