A lady visiting Yellowstone National Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers stated Tuesday.
The 25-year-old lady, who was visiting from Ohio, was not identified in a information release from the park.
The lady approached the female bison Monday morning after it came near a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, near Previous Faithful geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to 5,500 bison stay on the park, and they have injured more individuals than any other animal, the park said.
When the visitor got here within 10 toes of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 toes in the air, the park said.
The girl had puncture wounds and other injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service stated. Her situation was unknown Tuesday.
Two different folks were also near the animal when it gored the lady, the park said. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned individuals to stay 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A earlier version of this article misstated the severity of the lady’s accidents. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
