A lady visiting Yellowstone Nationwide Park was gored by a bison and tossed into the air, park officers mentioned Tuesday.
The 25-year-old woman, who was visiting from Ohio, was not recognized in a news release from the park.
The girl approached the female bison Monday morning after it got here close to a boardwalk at Black Sand Basin, close to Previous Faithful geyser, the park mentioned.

An estimated 2,300 to five,500 bison dwell at the park, and they have injured extra folks than any other animal, the park mentioned.
When the visitor got here within 10 feet of the animal, the bison impaled her and "tossed" her 10 ft within the air, the park stated.
The girl had puncture wounds and different injuries and was taken to a hospital in Idaho, the service said. Her condition was unknown Tuesday.
Two other people have been also near the animal when it gored the lady, the park mentioned. The discharge didn’t say if they had been injured.
The park warned individuals to remain 25 yards from bison, elk, bighorn sheep and moose and at least 100 yards from bears and wolves.
CORRECTION (June 1, 2022, 12:07 p.m. ET) A earlier model of this text misstated the severity of the lady’s injuries. She was gored by a bison and suffered puncture wounds. She was not killed.
