CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The dad and mom of a 6-year-old marathoner are speaking out after they say little one protective services paid their household an unannounced go to and questioned their children at house.

Ben and Kami Crawford shared a photo on Instagram Sunday purportedly of certainly one of their youngsters being interviewed by a CPS staffer. The Crawfords keep their 6-year-old wanted to run all alongside and stand by their decision to let the young boy run 26.2 miles.

Experts say a marathon is a serious physical feat for anyone and it may well take a toll on a baby.

"If a younger baby have been to run a marathon, I'm nervous about electrolyte abnormalities, nausea, vomiting, heatstroke, all these signs and symptoms that will not be that clear in a younger youngster," Dr. Alok Patel previously informed "GMA."

Kids might have a tougher time recognizing warning signs of dehydration, exhaustion or other crimson flags. Parents and caregivers should seek the advice of with a baby's pediatrician earlier than a toddler is permitted to engage in any strenuous exercise.
