800 staff resign after firm asks them to work from workplace

Because the Covid situation has improved, several companies have already known as their employees to workplace, ending the make money working from home (WFH).

Over 800 WhiteHat Jr workers have resigned from the kids on-line coding learning edtech start-up in the final two months after being requested to work from workplace.

This comes after WhiteHat Jr, a platform which was acquired by BYJU’S in 2020, asked its workers to return to office inside a month’s time, based on an Inc42 report.

On March 18, the corporate announced the policy to finish work from home and requested distant staff to return to office by April 18.

The resignations got here from full-time staff of the sales, coding, and math teams. Extra workers are anticipated to put down their papers within the coming months.

One of the employees who resigned told the web site that a month’s time was not sufficient for relocation. “Some have kids, some have aged and sick mother and father, whereas others have other obligations. It is not proper to call again staff in such a brief time frame,” the former WhiteHat Jr worker mentioned.

One other employee mentioned salaries also factored within the resolution to not return to the office.
